Sant'Egidio firmly condemns all forms of anti-Semitism and violence, renewing its determination to combat anti-Semitism and racism through the culture of encounter and the memory of the past. Moreover, Sant’Egidio calls for a greater vigilance to be exercised also over language, over the use of violent and racist words and attitudes that lower the level of civil coexistence, increase prejudice and instigate violence towards every person considered different for ethnic or religious reasons or because they are old or sick, renewing his will to build a culture of coexistence , especially with young people.
