The Foreign Minister of the Netherlands, Bert Koenders, visited a few days ago the Community of Sant'Egidio to Waterloo Square in Amsterdam, where the Community is active with numerous initiatives for the poor, such as 'Franciscustafel', the soupkitchen for homeless, and the Language School for refugees.
During the meeting, the Minister and the responsibles of the Community discussed different issues, including the humanitarian corridors and the work of Sant'Egidio for prevention and resolution of conflicts throughout the world.
