Christmas will be different this year, but the warmth of the season and our dear friends can still be a part of it: we wish to say so for those most in difficulty, for the poor and lonely, for those living on the streets, for all the elderly feeling the weight of isolation, and for those who, impoverished by the crisis, had to ask for help for the first time in their lives.
The fight against the virus, as we have understood in recent months, is also done with solidarity. And it reminds us that - as Pope Francis says - only together we are saved.
Let us give to all poorest and most fragile people the joy of Christmas: a lunch - in a safe and physically-distanced way- and a gift.
With you, it will be possible.
