A delegation of Sant'Egidio paid homage to the victims of the Srebrenica massacre

On Thursday 29 August, a delegation of the Community of Sant'Egidio visited the memorial of the Srebrenica massacre in Bosnia, where 8372 people were killed in July 1995.

A wreath was laid in homage to the victims of the worst massacre of the Balkan war. It is a living memory of the horrors of a conflict that shook a part of Europe 30 years ago.
