The warm but rainy Pakistani summer is an opportunity for the Community of Sant'Egidio to spend a few days of holiday with the children of the Schools of Peace. In Faisalabad, the summer camp takes place in the city, between moments of play and study, while in Islamabad, which rises right at the foot of the Himalayas, it is an opportunity to explore the parks of the Margalla Hills, the closest offshoot to the city of the great mountain range. These mountains, destination of tourists from the whole world, are however often unknown to the children of the peripheral districts of the capital. We can imagine their happiness of starting with the coaches, going to the parks and finally ... planting the flag of the Community on the summit!
