A delegation of the Community of Sant'Egidio visited the capital of Zambia at the invitation of the Minister of Justice Mr Given Lubinda.
The event was attended by the Vice President of the Republic of Zambia and many other different authorities. A representative of Sant'Egidio recalled the recent Congress of Ministers of Justice in Rome supporting a Universal Moratorium on executions, and reaffirmed the commitment of the Community to sustain the abolitionist process in Zambia.
