Yesterday, a delegation of representatives of Libyan politics and civil society participated in a conference, which was organized by the Community of Sant'Egidio at the European Parliament in Brussels. It is a place where peace and humanitarian issues in Libya were discussed.
The various speakers highlighted the need to recompose the fragmented mosaic of Libya, especially in regard to the strengthening of institutions, the status of minorities as a test case for democracy, and the implementation of humanitarian support to inhabitants in order to strengthen peace.
