Central African Republic: President Touadéra receives representatives of armed groups after the agreement signed at Sant'Egidio

The President of the Central African Republic Faustin-Archange Touadéra received representatives of armed groups signatories to the Rome agreement at the hearing.

The president encouraged the groups to continue on the path of disarmament and the cessation of hostilities and thanked the Community of Sant'Egidio for the agreement calling it a historic event for the country.

Subsequently, the groups were also received by the President of the National Assembly who had sent his representative to the meetings of Sant'Egidio.
