On October 4 in Maputo, on the 24th anniversary of the peace signed in 1992, the inter-religious prayer meeting for peace "Sede pela Paz" was held. As in September in Assisi, men and women of different religions gathered in the Mozambican capital to reaffirm the importance of dialogue and the thirst for peace in the African country.
Representatives of the Catholic Church, the various Protestant Churches and Islam participated in the meeting, along with young people from the Community of Sant'Egidio and activists from the DREAM program.
