In 1966 the General Assembly of the United Nations proclaimed every year's March 21st World Day against racism, to commemorate the 69 pacifists demonstrators killed on March 21st 1960, in the town of Shaperville, by the police of the segregationist regime of South Africa, because they were protesting against the acts issued by the the apartheid regime.
All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. To every individual are due all the rights and all the freedom stated in the Italian Constitution and in the Universal Declaration of the Human Rights, without any distinction of nationality, color of the skin, sex, language, religion, political opinion, origin, economical and social condition, birth or other.
